These Terms apply to purchases and services from Diarist Prints, a trade name operated by T&D Commerce LLC. By placing an order or submitting a design, you agree to these Terms.
Your order at a glance
- Your selected product and options determine whether you receive a digital template, a template-and-print bundle or printing only.
- Diarist Prints templates are licensed for one personal magazine project, with reasonable personal copies for you and the intended recipient.
- For printing, submit your completed design and check the proof carefully. Production begins only after your express approval.
Our products
We offer:
- Digital templates: editable magazine templates with the access and instructions described on the product page.
- Template-and-print bundles: a digital template together with a personalized printed magazine.
- Print Your Design: printing of your own completed design, without a Diarist Prints template unless expressly stated.
The product description and selected options determine what your purchase includes. The number of editable template pages may differ from the number of pages purchased for physical printing.
Digital access and canva
Digital access is supplied through a downloadable guide containing the relevant template links. Please provide an accurate email address and keep your purchase information.
A Canva account is required to edit Canva templates. Canva is an independent service with its own terms and privacy policy. Diarist Prints is not owned, sponsored or endorsed by Canva.
Any paid third-party features or assets you choose to add are your responsibility. The product description identifies the requirements for the template as supplied.
Personal-use licence
Purchasing a Diarist Prints template grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for one personal magazine project and reasonable personal copies for you and the intended recipient.
You may personalize, download, print and privately share the completed magazine for personal use or gifting.
You may not:
- Resell, sublicense or redistribute the template or its access link.
- Share the editable template publicly or upload it to a marketplace or file-sharing collection.
- Extract pages or design elements for resale or redistribution.
- Use the template to produce work for commercial clients.
- Claim the underlying template design as your own.
A separate purchase is required for an unrelated personal project or recipient. Rights in third-party assets remain with their respective owners.
This template licence does not apply to a design you independently created and submit through Print Your Design.
Design submission and proof approval
Submit a completed design that matches the size, page count and technical requirements for your order. Use an accessible link to your finished design, not the original blank template.
Our production-readiness review may identify obvious issues, but it is not a comprehensive proofreading, retouching or design service.
One initial digital proof is included. You must check and expressly approve the final content and appearance before printing. Any additional design work or charges must be agreed before we proceed. Corrections to errors introduced by us are not chargeable.
Approval covers text, names, dates, images, cropping, layout, page order and page count. Do not assume that editing a shared file after approval updates the version being printed. Contact us immediately if a change is needed.
Production may begin shortly after approval. Once an order enters production, changes and change-of-mind cancellation are no longer available.
Your content and permissions
You retain ownership of your original photographs, writing and other content.
You grant us and our service providers a limited permission to access, copy, download, prepare for production, reproduce and transmit submitted content as reasonably necessary to review, proof, print, deliver and support your order.
We will not materially alter your design without approval.
You confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit the content, including appropriate permission relating to other people and children shown in photographs. Do not submit unlawful or infringing material.
We will not use your photographs or magazine content in advertising, social media, portfolios or product examples without separate express permission.
Prices and order problems
The price and selected options shown when you purchase apply to your order. Later price changes do not alter a confirmed purchase.
We may refuse or cancel an order where payment fails, fraud is reasonably suspected, content is unlawful or infringing, or the requested product cannot be supplied. We will explain the issue and provide any refund due. We will not charge an increased price without your agreement.
Shipping, refunds and appearance
Our Shipping Policy and Refund Policy form part of these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
Product examples illustrate the design and format. Your finished magazine depends on your submitted content. Minor screen-to-print variations may occur, but the goods must still meet their description and applicable legal standards.
Liability and governing law
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability, remedies or consumer protections that cannot legally be excluded.
Subject to those protections, we are not responsible for errors you supplied and approved or losses caused by unauthorized use or sharing of your template access.
These Terms are governed by Wyoming law and applicable United States federal law, without depriving you of mandatory consumer protections that apply in your location.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms for future purchases. Changes do not retrospectively remove rights attached to an existing order.
